Each bike Is held on with a lockable arm. This is a nice bike rack and opens with the tailgate, however, with the maximum of four bikes, it is recommended that at least one bike is removed before opening the tailgate. This rack also takes the height over 2.0M with bikes fitted this is important to consider if going to the continent where it maybe more expensive with a vehicle over 2M high in which case we recommend…

This bike rack can carry up to 4 bikes (generally 3 adult bikes are comfortable). This bike rack is mounted to the tow bar of the California and tilts back so the tailgate can be opened. Please note that the rear parking assist is disabled using this rack and the rear parking camera maybe obscured. Also, under no circumstances should the bike rack be removed and the tow bar be used for towing (unless agreed by Sunrise Campers).

Note: Certain European Countries require a warning sign to be fitted to the bike rack, please let us know which countries you intend to visit so we can include the correct warning sign (comes as part of the EU pack in combination with a bike rack).

The portable toilet is conveniently located on a special protective tray, in the cupboard under the sink. The toilet is retained using a strap and is removed for use. We highly recommend the use of the popup privacy tent when selecting the portable toilet. Chemicals are included and we ask that the toilet is returned clean and empty.
